Meet Tawny!
This puppy is one of 4 Rat Terrier/Dachshund mixes looking for loving homes. They are very sweet, and their tails never stop wagging. They are very tiny at the moment (only around 3-4lbs), and we believe they will mature around 25lbs. Due to their tiny size, they may not be suitable for families with toddlers, as being stepped on accidentally or dropped out of small hands could result in serious injury to them. They are best suited for moderately active homes, as they would enjoy walks around the block and to the park, or playing in the yard.

- Please note that because our shelter is located in southern Illinois, about 3 hours south of Champaign, our animals are available for adoption in Champaign only during scheduled events, and are available in Murphysboro, IL between events, by appointment.
