Meet Baden!
This puppy is one of a litter of 7 Border Collie/Boxer mix puppies in need of loving homes. They were turned in by their owner after their dog had an 'accidental litter' and could not care for the puppies (one of the many excellent reasons to have your pets fixed!), so these babies found themselves in need of rescue. They were loaded with parasites and fleas, and had flea allergy dermatitis, and were terribly itchy, poor babies. Now that they have been cleared of their ailments, they are now ready to find homes to call their own. Some of them have more dominant Boxer characteristics, while the others look more like Border Collies, and either way, aren't they adorable?!

- Please note that because our shelter is located in southern Illinois, about 3 hours south of Champaign, our animals are available for adoption in Champaign only during scheduled events, and are available in Murphysboro, IL between events, by appointment.
