Meet Easton!
Easton is already fixed!
This puppy is one of a litter of Shepherd mix puppies (we do not know what they are mixed with, but believe they will mature around 55lbs) that are looking for loving homes. They are curious and playful and would be best suited for an active family. They were turned in after their owner's dog had an 'accidental litter' (another great reason to have your pets fixed!) and could not care for the puppies. They were not socialized at all, and were being kept outside. Because of that, they were very scared when they first came in, and did not trust anyone. With some positive reinforcement, treats and lots of "sweet talk" and cuddles, they are now ready to find their forever homes.
Easton suffered a soft tissue injury to his hind right leg, and while we don't know the cause of the injury, it is healing and he is improving consistently.

- Please note that because our shelter is located in southern Illinois, about 3 hours south of Champaign, our animals are available for adoption in Champaign only during scheduled events, and are available in Murphysboro, IL between events, by appointment.
