Meet Parker!
*Because they are mixes, these puppies are not suitable for families with allergy concerns.
This pup is one of a litter of 4 Cocker Spaniel/Doxie mixes looking for loving homes to call their own. These puppies were removed from their owner's home after they were found to be backyard breeding and had way too many animals and were not providing proper care for them. They came in loaded with fleas, intestinal parasites and soiled coats which caused skin infections. This is an unfortunate side effect of backyard breeding- the situation can easily get out of hand with too many mouths to feed, medical care, supplements, flea infestation, care for the mother dog, etc. Fortunately, these puppies recovered quickly from their health issues, and are happy and playful, and ready to give all of their love to a family!

These puppies would be best suited for a moderately active family and would be well suited for families with other pets and kids.
Adopters should keep in mind that even though these puppies will mature to be small in size, it is important to remember that they should be socialized with as many new people as possible, and lots of other dogs of all sizes. This is an integral part of a happy and well rounded life for a small dog. It is important that they are allowed to greet people and animals from gound level (many people like to carry their small pooches, which is fine sometimes, but learning social cues and body language from interacting with other pets is incredibly important.
