Meet Bali!
This puppy is one of a litter of 9 Australian Shepherd mixes in need of loving homes! These sweet babies were transferred to us from another rescue after being turned in by an owner whose dog had an 'accidental litter' and could not care for them (one of the many important reasons to have pets fixed). We do not know what breed their dad was - he was a "traveling salesman". These puppies are sweet, curious, playful and would make great additions to families that enjoy taking walks, playing at the park, and would do well with kids, cats and other dogs. We believe they will mature around 45lbs.

Due to the current public health concerns, our animals are only available for private meetings in Murphysboro, Illinois. We are providing individual meetings with one staff member and the pet you are interested in, and asking that adopters bring as few people to the meeting as possible, for the health and safety of our staff and your family. Our staff will utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as they feel necessary at these meetings, and maintain social distancing during the meeting, and we encourage adopters to do the same.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all work together to stay safe and healthy while finding loving homes for the animals in our program.

Applications are usually processed within ONE BUSINESS DAY. Once approved, you will be able to schedule a meeting with an available animal for our upcoming adoption event!
- Please note that because our shelter is located in southern Illinois, about 3 hours south of Champaign, our animals are available for adoption in Champaign only during scheduled events, and are available in Murphysboro, IL between events, by appointment.

4 month Distemper/Parvo Booster (for puppies 16 weeks and older)
At least 2 fecal screenings (to check for intestinal parasites and bacteria)
At least 3 Rounds of Dewormer
Pre-adoption "spa treatment" (bath, conditioning treatment, nail trim, ear cleaning)
Microchip Implantation
Microchip Registration
*Complete medical records are available for each puppy at our events and upon adoption.
