*PHOTOS TO COME* Zander is an amazing dog. He is 9-10 months old, gentle and loving and really needs a wonderful family. He was transferred from an animal control facility in southern IL. He was severely underweight and miserable. He was found in an abandoned rental property after his family moved away and LEFT him there. When the landlord went to check on the property, he found Zander all alone with no food or water. He is doing well now, and almost at ideal body weight. He is working on crate training, and he definitely prefers to use the bathroom outside- what a good dog! He has been heartworm tested negative, has received his yearly vaccinations, been dewormed, and will be neutered PRIOR to adoption. As he is a German Shepherd, he does have a bit of pray drive towards cats, so we would prefer to place him in a home without cats. His adoption donation is $250. He requires lot of exercise, and someone that provide the attention and training that he needs.
