Zena finds her forever home!

Hello, We adopted Zena last Sunday from Buffalo Grove, IL and just wanted to give an update that hopefully could get passed along to her foster family. I wasn't sure where to post this so if there is a better place please let me know. First off she goes by Lucy now, although Shadow may have been a more appropriate name since she has not left myself, my husband's, or our Shepherd/Husky mix, Sox, dog's side since we got her. She adjusted to our house very quickly and is just the most sweet dog we could have asked for. She is sweet, loving, and always happy. Potty training has been going really well, with only a few hiccups in the last 3 days we're pretty happy about it. She sleeps with us and our two dogs in our bed and I've been woken up every morning from her and Sox playing. Sox is learning to take it easy with her since he is big and she is small but they are forming a great partnership. He has been a little jealous since the new addition but it is getting better. Our mastiff has not seem to be bothered by the addition, which we expected. Overall the first couple days have been better than we expected and we are so happy we got her. She is getting spayed this weekend so expect to have a updated report for that. My husband and I are both going to be home all weekend to love and take care of her as she heals.
